AIR YACHT LTD - TAKACAT

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Takacat inflatable boat. To ensure quick and easy handling of future warranty repairs (if needed) , please print & fill out the attached warranty form at the bottom of this page. Alternatively fill out and return the warranty card that you received at time of purchase.

Air Yacht Limited (Takacat), warrants each new Takacat boat to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and services which excludes racing. This warranty is non-transferable and must have proof of purchase at the time of the claim.

Claims against any defects in parts, accessories or workmanship are warranted as follows. Fibreglass transoms (under normal use and excluding racing) are warranted for two (3) years. The  PVC coated fabric is warranted for a period of two (3) years against defects and deterioration affecting serviceability such as aging, cracking, or delamination. The PVC air holding tube seams are warranted for two (3) years. The Hypalon coated fabric is warranted for a period of two (5) years against defects and deterioration affecting serviceability such as aging, cracking, or delamination. The Hypalon air holding tube seams are warranted for two (5) years.

Air Yacht Ltd (Takacat) parts, attachments and accessories including carry handles, safety lines, "D" rings, bow tow, hatch, paddles, oars and oar locks, are warranted to be free of defects in material and structure for a period of one (2) year, from the date of purchase. Air Yacht Ltd or its appointed representative will repair, or at their option, replace any of the above-described defects during respective warranty periods. In the event of a claim, you must send notification of the defect in writing or via e mail to Air Yacht Ltd (Takacat) at the address listed below, Please include the model number, hull identification number, dealer name and original date of purchase as well as your contact details and indication of what the fault or defect is. Photos of the effected area are also required to assess the cause of action. One of our representatives will contact you and arrange to have the fault / defect fixed with as little inconvenience to you as possible. 


In no event shall Air Yacht Ltd (Takacat) be liable for incidental or consequential damages in connection with the use of Takacat Boats. Air Yachts limited liability on any claim relating in any way to the sale or use of the (TAKACAT), parts or accessories shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the product to which such a claim relates.

The following are excluded from or may void this warranty.


-          The use of outboard power exceeding the max Hp rating on HIN plate

      -          Misuse, abuse or negligence, such as improper docking, towing, driving, packing, transportation
            or storage.
      -          Compensatation, rental, or commercial usage

-          Collision, improper transportation, puncture, tearing, ripping, abrasion, theft, fire, etc

-          Alterations and modifications to the original product

-          Damage, such as corrosion of metallic parts due to lack of maintenance, or premature wear resulting from improper assembly or dismantling as well as under or over inflation.

-          Costs resulting in loss of use, including but not limited to transportation, freight, rigging & de-rigging.

-          Consequential damages
