          Takacat Lite X
       Ultimate Fun.

Stability

Takacat's large diameter tubes plus low resistance catamaran hull design provides exceptional stability. When you are out on the water, if boarding your Takacat from the mother ship or enjoying a spot of fishing, you will really appreciate the stability of your Takacat.

Easy access.

Trying to get from the water, back into a kayak, dinghy, or inflatable boat can be very difficult and even dangerous. The unique Takacat Lite open bow designs makes boarding from the water easier than most if not all other types of craft. An exceptional safety feature that is also ideal for customers who like to swim, snorkel or dive.

Portable.

Takacats revolutionary new open and completely removable transom allows for the inflatable tubes to be deflated easier and more compact compared to other inflatable boats. There is also a significant size and weight advantage with no fixed transom. A big advantage when it comes to handling, transportation and or storage of your portable boat.

Wheels.

Quick release wheels (QRW) are part of Takacat's all-new completely removable tube transom. QRW provide the ability to get your inflatable boat to and from the water with minimal effort. No drilling or retrofitting of aftermarket wheels is key. A simple clip on and off system that doesn't affect the pack down size or weight of your inflatable tender.

Shallow draft.

Being light in weight with a unique hull design plus exceptional buoyancy provides a very shallow draft. This is a big advantage when crossing shallow water and also provides the ability to get further up the beach or ramp before the hull of the boat grounds. In most cases this means you can walk off the bow dry rather than being stuck in knee / shin depth water like most inflatable boats.

The Takacat certainly offers a practical, fun tender option — a ‘boat in a bag’ which you can take anywhere and get out onto the water in double-quick time. Boating NZ Magazine 2017. Read more >
