Takacat's revolutionary new open and completely removable transom allows for the inflatable tubes to be deflated easier and more compact compared to other inflatable boats. There is also a significant size and weight advantage with no fixed transom. A big advantage when it comes to handling, transportation and/or storage of your portable boat.

Open transom.

A quick-drain transom is a big advantage and you won't find any faster than this. The ability to hold no water, all but eliminates the chance of being swamped by a wave and capsized due to your boat being flooded.

"In 2009 40% of all recreational boating deaths in the U.S. were the result of boats flooding, swamping or capsizing"

Removable floor.

It's hard to look past the portability and comfort aspect of our high-pressure fully removable air deck floor system. Extremely rigid when inflated to pressure (10psi) "standing on board is no issue" yet quick and easy to deflate and stow away for transport or storage.

This is a big advantage over inflatable boats, that have a built in air deck floor or RIBs, which both can hold water.

If you’re in the market for a new tender, you might consider the new Takacat – a lightweight, robust, stable platform that’s easily stowed. Boating NZ Magazine 2016. Read More >

Make life easy.

Quick release wheels (QRW) are part of Takacat's all-new completely removable tube transom. QRW provide the ability to get your inflatable boat to and from the water with minimal effort. No drilling or retrofitting of aftermarket wheels is key. A simple clip on and off system that doesn't affect the pack down size or weight of your inflatable tender.

Rod holders.

A simple clip on/off system that doesn't affect the pack down size or weight of your inflatable tender. No need for drilling or retrofitting a set of aftermarket rod holders. Designed to work with Takacats new Tube-Transom (R).

If you are into rowing your tender, then you must check this out. Remove the top transom tube along with the outboard mounting plate and you have a very fast and fun rowing tender. This also provides an easy on/off boarding system and great vision into the water.

"It's great to fish from and it also better to row than my Canoe!" Timo, South Island lake fisherman, New Zealand
